Inclusive Childcare Center

At Linda’s House, we are commited to supporting the health, safety, and development of every child in our care.

We are proud to offer on-site nursing support. A licensed nurse is available during the week to support the health and wellness of our children and staff. The nurse helps monitor health concerns, administer medications when documentation is provided, and works with families to ensure that children with medical needs are safely supported throughout the day. Open communication with families allows us to respond appropriately to any health-related needs that may arise.

Our Environment

Early-Intervention Collaboration

Early-Intervention Collaboration

Our center is designed and constructed to mirror a warm home environment while providing stimulating opportunities for learning.

Our outside space has a small natures classroom where our teachers can expand the classroom experience. We have natural play areas that encourage discovery and imagination while supporting growth and development.

We work closely with early intervention providers who support children with developmental delays or certain medical needs. With parent permission, EI therapists may visit Linda’s House to provide services in the classroom environment while your child is enrolled in our program.

Transition at Age Three

Early-Intervention Collaboration

Transition at Age Three

Early intervention services typically end when a child turns three years old. At that time, families are encouraged to continue support services through their local public school district.

Public schools can evaluate children and determine eligibility for continued services through preschool special education programs. Linda’s House director and school nurse are available to help with this transition and can attend a Planning and Placement Team (PPT) meeting.

Staffing and Service Limitations

While we strive to support all children’s needs, our program follows state mandated staff-to-child ratios. Because of these regulations, we cannot provide one-to-one care or individualized therapy services within the center. Families whose children require intensive individual support will need to coordinate additional services through outside providers or their local school district.

Our goal is to partner with families and community resources to ensure each child receives the support they need to grow and thrive.
